The team at East Green Homes played a major part in London’s first and jointly England’s first certified Passive House in April 2010, Cambridge City’s first certifiable Passive House (we designed and built), along with Passive House Homes and Apartments in London, Cambridge and an award-winning home in Hertfordshire. We have just completed our first developed certifiable Passive House Home and are looking to commence more in the near future.

Our research into the Passive House standard, developed in Austria and Germany offers the most sustainable development methods of building construction. East Green Homes incorporates these techniques with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry for eco-friendly, sustainable Passive House buildings.

Our Team consists of senior staff responsible for the above, our director first investigated Passive House for a hotel and restaurant in Germany over 25 years ago. We have our own Certified Passive House Consultant and Air Tester. We have assisted others in achieving their airtightness and with others have run air tightness courses within the UK. Our team have been trained in installing Passive House windows both in Germany and the UK and have attended air tightness courses in Europe.
